WAYS TO INSPIRE, NOT JUST MOTIVATE

Every Monday, Alex, the manager of a large team, starts the week, by giving a motivational speech to the team. He is talking about hard work, dedication, and staying positive. The team starts feeling energized at first, but by Wednesday, that energy is gone.

Has this ever happened to you or your teams? You feel pumped after a speech, but soon, the motivation fades.

Now, there is Priya, head of the research team. Priya is walking on Monday morning by checking in with her team, asking how they’re doing.
The day is passing by, and it’s 12 pm, she’s observing her team members, offering advice, removing obstacles, and making sure they have what they need to succeed.

She is in her cabin and yesterday’s meeting flashes in her mind. Yesterday Priya had a long meeting with the leadership team. She has taken up a challenge of a project, against the views and wishes of all leaders. The project timeline is tight, and the team is tense and putting in extra efforts, she’s staying a little later, she is with her team, encouraging them and showing how bright the next day is.

This is not the first time, she is there to prove her calibre on the court.
Her bright smile is beaming on her face.

At 4pm now the client is around, Priya is walking them through solutions step by step . The team has been a witness to clients appreciating Priya’s suggestions and inputs

She’s gentle in her conversations with both employees and clients.

After work, you’ll usually see Priya joking around with her team, keeping the atmosphere light.
